The Music Department exists to develop musicians who are equipped to advance the cause of Christ through music ministry.
Music at Moody
Train for future ministry vocation and a career in performance, education, church employment, worship ministry, or multi-media. You’ll graduate qualified for entrance into top graduate schools.
Moody’s artist-faculty perform in the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Lyric Opera of Chicago, and on local, national, and international stages. You can go on national and international tours with one of our ensembles and participate in worship teams such as the Moody Worship Collectives and Gospel Choir.
Moody Bible Institute is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music. With your musical studies and core Bible classes, you’ll grow in your faith as you learn from Moody’s renowned faculty in Bible and theology.
