Mark Griffin
Director of Sexual Harassment and Sexual Violence Prevention and Response/Title IX Coordinator
Mark Griffin is Moody’s new, full-time Director of Sexual Harassment and Sexual Violence Prevention and Response/Title IX Coordinator. Mark served as an Assistant Inspector General for the City of Chicago since 2018, directing investigations of misconduct, including allegations of sexual harassment, sexual assault, and retaliation. Prior to that role, he served as an Assistant State’s Attorney for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office for 10 years, where he investigated and prosecuted hundreds of felony and misdemeanor cases, including cases involving sexual assault, sexual abuse, stalking, and intimidation. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law with honors. Mark is also deeply committed to Christian service, and has served in leadership in his churches’ worship teams for many years.

Rachel Campbell
Deputy Title IX Coordinator
Rachel Campbell is Moody’s full-time Deputy Title IX Coordinator. For the past year, she has served in this role as well as the role of interim Title IX Coordinator. She has worked at Moody for the past 15 years, and has six years of volunteer experience with the Title IX office. Rachel received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Moody Bible Institute, and is currently pursuing a Masters of Arts degree in Clinical Health Counseling. Rachel is a Chair Committee member of Moody’s on-campus employee-to-student female mentoring program, and serves on the volunteer staff at her church.

Nancy Campos
Title IX Administrator/Investigator
Nancy Campos is Moody’s full-time Title IX Administrator/Investigator. Nancy is currently a graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Moody Theological Seminary and obtained her Bachelor’s degree at Northpoint Bible College. Prior to these roles, she worked in the Stewardship department at Moody, the University of Chicago, Long Island Teen Challenge, and served on staff at Connect Church in Ashland, Massachusetts. She is passionate about advocating and serving vulnerable populations and working with trauma-based backgrounds. In her free time, she enjoys adventuring with her Labrador, Theo, hiking, and spending time with loved ones.

Designated Reporters
- All Moody Employees (except for those deemed Confidential Resources: Moody Counseling Services, Health Service, and Moody’s Ombudsman) – All Moody employees report to the Title IX Coordinator. No staff or faculty member can provide a person with confidentiality when a report is made known to them about Sexual Harassment or Sexual Violence. Any staff or faculty member can help a person report to the Title IX Coordinator.
- Moody’s Public Safety Officers – Public Safety can assist Reporters and/or Complainants in making reports to law enforcement and to the Title IX Coordinator.
- Local law enforcement – Moody’s process is completely separate from the police and courts. Moody’s Sexual Harassment and Sexual Violence Response process and the criminal process may be pursued simultaneously.

Confidential Reporting
A person who wishes to confidentially report Sexual Harassment or Sexual Violence may report directly to any or all of the following:
- Any confidential resource – This includes on-campus and off-campus counselors and healthcare professionals, crisis centers.
- Confidential Advisor – Moody’s Counseling Center has a Confidential Advisor available to survivors of sexual violence. Please call 312-329-4194 or email counselingservices@moody.edu. As provided by the Illinois Preventing Sexual Violence in Higher Education Act, 110 ILCS 155 et seq. (the “Illinois Preventing Sexual Violence Act”), Moody also provides students in Illinois with access to a confidential advisor who meet the statutory requirements of the Illinois Preventing Sexual Violence Act to provide emergency or ongoing support to survivors of Sexual Violence.
