Personal Information:
Dr. Clunan teaches students out of her calling as both a practitioner and a professor. She wants students to have a holistic learning experience and believes that the integration of faith and learning is elemental to what she does. In addition to being a professor, she is also a licensed professional counselor in multiple states and a state-approved supervisor of post-masters students pursuing licensure. She has worked in the counseling and human services field for over a decade, serving in private practice, inner-city schools, and community agencies. She specializes in the integration of Christian theology with psychology and human services, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, evidenced-based marriage and family therapy training, childhood sexual abuse recovery, adolescent counseling, and clinical counseling of various forms.

Professional / Personal Interests:
Outside of the classroom, Dr. Clunan is a wife of a youth pastor and mother to two. As a family, they love cooking, hiking, going on adventures together, and they have two rescue pups. She loves her church and serving within it to work with kids, youth, and families. She enjoys reading, running, finding ways to be outside, and watching New Orleans Saints football.
