CHICAGO CAMPUS COVID-19 DASHBOARD*
What do the numbers on the COVID-19 dashboard mean?
Each number represents an employee or student who has told the COVID-19 Taskforce that he or she is ill with symptoms of COVID-19 or has been in direct contact with someone who tested positive for the virus. Our ‘Sick Student Protocol’ does not differentiate between people with flu-like symptoms and COVID-19 symptoms. Since the symptoms for the coronavirus and influenza are very similar, this impacts the number of cases reflected on the dashboard. We are also aware that negative tests do not necessarily mean the absence of the virus.
*The COVID-19 dashboard gives the Moody community a near real-time look into key areas related to the Chicago campus. For more information about each of the condition factors that inform Moody’s overall alert level, click on the short descriptions or hover over with your mouse in that section. This dashboard is updated regularly, so please make sure you refresh this web page to ensure you are viewing the most up-to-date information.
MICHIGAN & SPOKANE COVID-19 CASE TRACKER**
**This chart is updated every Monday around 10 a.m. (CT), and represents the number of active, confirmed cases of COVID-19 within the Moody community. Moody follows all sanitation and cleaning procedures per Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines, and in the case of an on-campus student in a residence hall, we ensure they are self-isolating per our Sick Student Protocol. Contact tracing efforts are also part of Moody’s protocol when a positive case is confirmed so that we ensure those within the Moody community who were in close contact with the individuals in question have been properly notified. Please note that Moody also follows all rules related to personal health information (HIPAA) and the Family Educational Rights & Privacy Act (FERPA) to protect the privacy of staff, faculty, and students; therefore, the identity of an individual will not be shared with the Moody community. If you are aware of someone’s identity, please respect their privacy and not share their name.
