Alumnus Travels To Swaziland

  • September 4, 2016

Earlier this month, Tim Rogers ’96 and his wife, Tiersa, traveled to Swaziland, Africa. There they worked with New Life Homes, a ministry of African Leadership Partners. New Life Primary School is an English medium school located in rural Swaziland. The school was founded to serve 40 children exclusively—to provide a unique educational environment that would support the emotional needs of orphaned and vulnerable children. Today, approximately 70 students attend the preschool and elementary school. Teachers include foreign volunteers as well as local Swazis.

The ministry is a great need for additional teachers and a new, long-term director. If you are interested or would like more information, please click here.
